Book 3 is a much more specific training guide. 4 months to prepare for the Ötztaler, a 225km, 5,500m, 1 day road race.

2022. 

I broke my pelvis May 9th & won the race 3.5 months later.


2024.

I was hit by a car while training in 2023 which took over a year to recover from. I restarted training May 1st, 2024 & won the race 4 months later.


Both years, I started from a low level in May but was able to win the race 4 months later following the training outlined in this book.


2026.

My goal is to win Ötztaler for a 3rd time & win the Everesting World Championships for a 2nd year in a row. This is what I'm doing now & plan to follow over the next 4 months.

Before/After 2022 & 2024.

  • May 9th, 2022 - Broken Pelvis


  • 3.5 Months Later - 2022 Ötztaler Win.


  • 2023: Hit By A Car While Training.

    Broken back & severe brain bleeding. 18 month recovery time.

  • 2024: Ötztaler Win.

    Restarted training May 1, 2024. Won the race 4 months later.
